for the building project richard in moers/nrw’s music quarter, we developed a light-hearted, running elephant, suitable for five different mediums, which gives the project a personable touch.

a simplified leaf design was chosen for the platanenhof project. with its strong lines and elegant simplicity, the leaf combines the themes of nature and architecture.

in 2014, runnerspoint began planning a series of races with a musical feature across germany’s major cities. the race successfully took place in cologne. loewentreu was tasked with giving the event a distinguishing face and name, to set it apart from competitive events. in the end, the customer decided in favour of their proposed name “beatrun” and loewentreu designed a striking visual bracket after briefing. the event package was conceived for both analogue and digital formats. sketches from the first development phase are shown here.
